FINISHES
Distinctive Cabinet Design hand-applies your finishes. As with any hand-application, there can be subtle variations in the application, the absorption of the stain, and the glaze detailing. We recommend viewing several door samples and displays to see the full spectrum of color variation. This is especially important for any glazed or distressed finish.
Paint
Paint finishes are selected for their crisp, classic styling and for use as an accent color. This full-coverage enamel has a smooth texture on Maple. When applied to Oak, the texture of the grain is visible. Wood naturally expands and contracts with seasonal changes in humidity and is more apparent with painted finishes at joints. This is a natural characteristic of painted finishes on wood.
